#Super30: Mathematician Anand Kumar is suffering from brain tumor
What's the story
Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 is about to hit the theatres tomorrow.
And just before the movie's release, mathematician Anand-kumar'>Anand Kumar, on whom the movie is based, made a shocking revelation to ANI.
Anand shared that he is suffering from acoustic neuroma, a brain tumor.
He further mentioned that he was in a hurry and "wanted this biopic to be made while I am alive."

But first, what is acoustic neuroma?
Acoustic neuroma, also known as vestibular schwannoma, is a non-cancerous tumor on the eighth cranial nerve, also known as the main nerve, which connects the inner ear to the brain. The tumor often causes hearing loss, ringing in your ear and unsteadiness.
Issues
In 2014, he had hearing issues in his right ear
Detailing about his condition, Anand recalled that in 2014, he had hearing issues in his right ear.
Despite undergoing treatment in Patna, he lost his hearing ability in that ear.
"It was after some tests that I came to know that 80-90% of hearing ability of my right ear has been destroyed. Then I checked into Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Delhi," he added.
Revelation
"As soon I got to know this, I lost consciousness"
At the hospital, "doctors performed rigorous investigation and did a number of tests."
"They told me I had no issues in my ear instead a tumor had developed in the nerve which runs from ear to brain," he recalled, while adding, "And, as soon I got to know this, I lost consciousness."
Anand is currently being treated at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
Script
Anand read the scripts 13 times to ensure authenticity
Talking about Super 30, Anand said how he was particular about the authenticity of his biopic.
He revealed that he read the script 13 times before giving it a nod.
"I made sure that till the time I am alive, my journey should be narrated in a right manner. So for that I read the script 13 times," he asserted.

Anand, who is excited about his biopic, also lauded Hrithik for his determination towards getting into the skin of the character.
"He used to ask questions about my life. He made a 150-hour video about my daily life, how I interact with people in Patna, going out with my children, and he thoroughly tried to practice my style by watching it," he informed.
