#ComicBytes: Know the most powerful superhero siblings in Marvel Comics
Comics and families generally don't go well. An evil father, a son or daughter looking for revenge, and an evil-queen of a mother are common tropes in comic books. There are, however, some relationships that don't necessarily follow these templates. One such relationship is of siblings. From Gods to mutants and humans, Marvel comics have some really powerful siblings. Here are five of them.
The more powerful half of the Fantastic Four
The Fantastic Four is such a close-knit team that two of its members are married to each other, two are siblings, and all four are fast friends. Sue Storm aka Invisible Woman and Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch are two of the most powerful beings in the team. Johnny can 'Flame On' and become fire itself while Sue can turn invisible, create force-fields.
The strongest mind and the strongest body
Professor Charles Xavier is a brilliant telepath and has arguably the best mind in Marvel comics. Not many people know that he has a brother as well. He goes by the moniker Juggernaut and is quite simply, the strongest and completely unstoppable. The two are not on good terms though, with Charles being the quintessential good guy whereas, Juggernaut is a major Marvel villain.
The children of Magneto
Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are quite famous, owing to their appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron (where Quicksilver died a silly death). What MCU couldn't show, due to licensing constraints, is that the two are the children of 'the master of magnetism', Magneto. Their comic book stories are quite convoluted and Scarlet Witch has often posed huge problems for the entire universe.
One of the most powerful sibling trios in Marvel
While the movie versions of Cyclops are shown as a second fiddle to more powerful and popular mutants (Wolverine, for instance), he is the leader of the X-Men in the comics. He also has two brothers who are equally, and sometimes more, powerful. Scott (Cyclops) shoots beams from his eyes, Alex (Havoc) is all about cosmic energy and Gabriel (Vulcan) is an omega-level mutant.
One of the best-known sibling duos
Did you think this list will end without mentioning Thor and Loki? Not a chance! Everyone knows how badass Thor is. What Loki lacks in power, he can more than make up with his smarts. The brothers sometimes fight together but are often seen facing each other because Loki's crafty evil plans (he is God of Mischief) usually target his own brother.
