Man impersonated Salman's brother-in-law to extract money; held
The Mumbai Police on Tuesday took into custody a 27-year-old man named Harshal Sudhakar Bhalerao for posing as Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma on social media. A resident of Kalyan, Bhalerao created a fake Facebook profile in the name of Aayush and duped a Kolkata man Rajat Chatterjee of Rs. 1.02 lakh on the pretext of getting his son admitted to an international school.
How was Bhalerao busted
Bhalerao's fraud was caught when the school received an email from Chatterjee inquiring about his son's admission. He also attached the 'fee receipt' of Rs. 1.02 lakh which he paid to Bhalerao. However, the school staff realized that it was a case of forgery and filed a complaint at the Bandra-Kurla police station. The case was then transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch.
Meanwhile, Aayush is gearing up for his Bollywood debut
Aayush, who is married to Salman's sister Arpita, will soon be making his acting debut in Bollywood. He is being launched by Salman himself in his home production titled 'Loveratri'. Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, the film features newcomer Warina Hussain opposite Aayush. 'Loveratri' is slated to release on September 21.
