Malayalam actor Mamitha Baiju is said to be eyed for lead roles in upcoming Tamil films opposite stars Dhanush and Suriya.
Baiju, who rose to fame through the Malayalam hit Premalu, has been solidifying her position in Kollywood with movies such as Rebel and Irandu Vaanam.
She's also part of Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film Jana Nayagan. If true, the new projects would be major steps in her burgeoning career.
Dhanush
Baiju's potential collaboration with Dhanush
Baiju is reportedly joining forces with Dhanush for an upcoming film.
Dhanush, who recently wrapped up shooting for Kubera and his directorial Idli Kadai, is currently shooting for Aanand L. Rai's Hindi film Tere Ishk Mein. Next, he is expected to join hands with Por Thozhil director Vignesh Raja for a new venture.
If reports are to be believed, Baiju will be the female lead in this much-awaited film.
Suriya

Apart from her rumored collab with Dhanush, Baiju is also said to be in talks for another big Tamil project.
Director Venky Atluri, the man behind many successful films, will be directing Suriya in his next.
Hindu Tamil reports that Baiju is being eyed for the role of leading lady in this film too. If it happens, this would be another big milestone in her career.
