Malaika Arora clears air about her church wedding with Arjun
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora's relationship has been one of the most talked about love affairs in Bollywood. Not only is the couple painting the town red these days, they have also kept the gossip mills abuzz with their church wedding planned for April. However, the diva revealed that she isn't getting married in a church, adding that these reports are created by media.

"The media is responsible for all of this," Malaika said. So, now her summer church wedding reports stand dismissed, people. Talking about her relationship, the Chaiyya Chaiyya dancer recently said that she considers herself lucky to have found love again. "I guess everybody wants to move on and find love, find companionship, you know people they can relate to," Malaika emphasized.

Notably, the church wedding rumors are not without reason. This holds a deep connection with Malaika's past. She is apparently quite fond of church weddings, courtesy her mother Joyce Polycarp, who's a Christian. In fact, she also married Arbaaz as per Christian rituals in 1998.
'Divorce not applauded, but gives freedom to move on'
Apart from her new relationship, Malaika also opened up on her divorce with Arbaaz Khan, and said that it was a huge step. But this decision also gave her the freedom to move on in her life, she maintained. "It's a choice that is not applauded by many but it gives you the freedom to move on, to make new choices," Malaika asserted.

"Everyone wants to be in love again, to be in a relationship. Nobody wants to be alone and single for the rest of their life. Irrespective of what everyone said around me, I am glad that I made this choice on my own," Malaika stated.
Arbaaz, Malaika ended their 19-year long marriage in 2017
To recall, Arbaaz and Malaika, who were touted to be the perfect couple of Bollywood, shocked everyone when they announced their divorce in 2017. The couple had called off their 19-year-long marriage and left everyone speculating about the reason behind their separation. Recently, Malaika revealed the reason behind her divorce and stated that they were in an unhappy marriage. Arbaaz echoed the same.
'We were two people making each other extremely unhappy'
Malaika also mentioned that divorce was a mutual decision taken for the best of both. "It was better off that we moved our separate ways. Because we're two people in a situation making each other extremely unhappy, which was impacting everybody else's life," she stated. They have a sixteen-year-old son Arhaan Khan, who stays with Malaika and Arbaaz has visitation rights of his son.
