Janhvi Kapoor's debut film 'Dhadak' to be dedicated to Sridevi
Sridevi may not be with us anymore but she'll come alive on the celluloid, once again. We all know it was Sridevi's dream to see her daughter Janhvi Kapoor on the big screen and was eagerly awaiting the release of her debut film. Therefore, to honor the late Bollywood legend, the makers of 'Dhadak' have decided to dedicate the film to her.
Probably the best tribute to the legendary actor
"Both producer Karan Johar and director Shashank Khaitan agree on this fact that 'Dhadak' should be dedicated to the amazing iconic woman whose daughter makes her debut in the film," a media report stated.
Hubby Boney Kapoor is overwhelmed by the gesture
When told about Karan and Shashank's plans to honor Sridevi, an overwhelmed Boney Kapoor said, "Her loss is palpable to the whole nation. I realize it's not just her family that misses her. Her fans miss her every single moment." Sridevi died of accidental drowning in her Dubai hotel room bathtub on February 24. She was 54.
'Dhadak' will hit the screens on July 20
