Film producer Girish Johar's analysis on 'Maidaan'
Producer and business expert, Girish Johar, provided his analysis on why Maidaan might not have achieved the expected box office numbers. He reportedly said, "The director could not stitch the film properly. It was very lengthy and is a dry film with a biopic feel to it." Johar also criticized the film's music, stating that the background score lacked soul and Devgn's character arc wasn't developed properly.
