Maidaan had a slow start at the box office, earning an estimated ₹22 crore India nett in its initial four-day run. However, on its fifth day of release, the film saw an increase in earnings, pulling in an additional ₹1.5 crore India nett across all languages, according to early estimates by Sacnilk. This surge brought the film's five-day total to ₹23.5 crore, indicating a promising upward trend for this cinematic piece.
'Maidaan's Day 5 occupancy rates show varied performance
On Monday, (April 15), Maidaan recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 9.99%. The rates varied throughout the day, with morning shows recording a low of 6.65%, afternoon shows at 9.92%, evening shows slightly higher at 11.1%, and night shows peaking at a promising rate of 12.28%. It's pitted against a mass actioner, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
