The much-awaited movie SSMB29, helmed by SS Rajamouli, recently wrapped its Koraput schedule in Odisha.
The revelation was made by a set of photos and videos of the lead actors Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra, which have gone viral on social media.
The pictures featured the actors meeting fans and crew members on the sets. Rajamouli was also seen being welcomed by Odisha's Pottangi MLA Rama Chandra Kadam.

A letter from Rajamouli thanking Odisha for the warm hospitality has also gone viral. The letter read, "Dear Koraput, thank you for the warm hospitality. Looking forward to many such adventures. With love from the sets of #SSMB29."
Earlier, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida confirmed Prithviraj Sukumaran and Chopra's participation in the film. She revealed Rajamouli chose Koraput after filming Pushpa 2 in Malkangiri.

'SSMB29' is expected to boost tourism in Odisha
Parida further praised Odisha's scenic beauty, stating it provides an ideal backdrop for filmmakers and has boosted tourism.
She said, "Before, Pushpa-2 in Malkangiri, and now, Rajamouli's upcoming film SSMB29, starring South superstars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, along with internationally acclaimed actress Priyanka Chopra, is being shot in Koraput, proving that Odisha has a wealth of cinematic landscapes."
The film is planned as a two-part series, with the first installment set to release in 2027.

During SSMB29's shoot, Babu and Chopra were spotted interacting with locals. Local MLA Kadam gifted handmade millet products to Rajamouli.
A video from the film's set showed Kadam meeting Rajamouli and gifting him local produce. Fans were also given a chance to meet the cast and catch glimpses of the film's shoot.
