The much-awaited fourth season of the beloved political drama series, Maharani, has officially started production.
The news was confirmed by the show's team through an announcement post on social media recently.
Along with the announcement, they also shared glimpses from the first "muhurat" shot of the new season.

The announcement post had an image of a clapboard with "muhurat" written on it, marking the beginning of Maharani Season 4's filming.
The post also revealed that the show is being created by Subhash Kapoor, with Puneet Prakash as director and Anurag Solanki as DOP. The new season is produced by Naren Kumar and Dimple Kharbanda.
"Your love made this possible! After three incredible seasons, we're back with Season 4," the makers wrote in the caption.

Directorial changes
'Maharani' series: A revolving door of directors
Notably, each season of Maharani has had a different director. Karan Sharma directed Season 1, followed by Ravindra Gautam for Season 2, and Saurabh Bhave for Season 3. The fourth season will be Prakash's first time directing the series.
Qureshi reprises her role as Rani Bharti, starring alongside actors like Sohum Shah, Amit Sial, Kani Kusruti, and Inaamulhaq.
