He was phenomenal. So the door would be open if the right role came along...Opportunities are there," Payne told the portal. When questioned about the inclusion of other Indian actors in the upcoming season of The Rings of Power, Payne revealed that Gavi Singh Chera, who plays Merrimac on the show, is part of the cast. "We actually did cast Indian actors in Season 2...Gavi Singh Chera - He is absolutely amazing. He's in a couple of episodes...That'd be very cool," he said.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday (August 29). The eight-episode series will be released in parts every Thursday, with the first three episodes streaming on Thursday, followed by subsequent episodes on September 5, 12, 19, and 26, and the season finale on October 3.
