The actor responded affirmatively and shared an incident from his shopping experience in London. He said, "We were just shopping around, and I happened to be looking at a tie when the shopkeeper, with a dismissive tone, said it cost £120."
Bachchan's response to the shopkeeper's condescension
Bachchan, who is estimated to have a net worth of around ₹1,600 crore, didn't let the shopkeeper's attitude deter him. He said, "I looked right back at him and responded, 'Pack 10 of these for me.' Initially hesitant, Bachchan accompanied Nair to London to watch the taping of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. He agreed to host the Indian version of the show on their return flight.
