Lily Gladstone's talented 'Under the Bridge' co-stars 'terrified' her
In a recent interview with People Magazine, Hollywood actor Lily Gladstone revealed an unexpected source of intimidation on set. Despite sharing the screen with Hollywood luminaries Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in Killers of the Flower Moon, it was her young co-stars in the Hulu series Under the Bridge that left her awestruck! Showering praise upon them, the Oscar nominee talked about how her co-stars were thoroughly well-prepared.
'They are so good'
In Under the Bridge, Gladstone has worked with Chloe Guidry, Izzy G., Aiyana Goodfellow, and Javon "Wanna" Walton. "Each one of those kids, when I was blessed enough to be in the scenes with them, they upped my performance." "Walking out of working with Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, the scene partners that have terrified me the most in the last couple of years have been these kids because they're so good. They don't lie," she further shared.
Gladstone thinks her co-actors handle everything 'beautifully'
The actor added, "And you can tell these kids — who are all actors and want to be actors and have been studying it — they've grown up watching some really incredible performances." "There's way more complex characters for their age group, and they handle it so beautifully. The strength of all of their performances and what they brought to their roles is just so indicative of how much kids are capable of. They live and breathe what they do."
Gladstone and Keough have developed a close friendship
The show also stars Riley Keough. The two initially connected on social media platforms in 2018 and were excited to collaborate on Under the Bridge. In the same interview, Keough praised Gladstone's gentle nature, stating, "Lily's the kindest, most gentle, sweetest soul, so she's very easy to work with when you have scenes that are heavy." Keough is known for Mad Max: Fury Road and War Pony.
