Leonardo DiCaprio-Martin Scorsese to reunite for upcoming film 'Home': Report

Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio will star in Martin Scorsese's next movie Home, based on the second Gilead novel by Marilynne Robinson.
Publisher's Weekly reported the news, adding that Apple Original Films has obtained the rights to all four novels in the Gilead series.
The film will be produced by Todd Field, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scorsese (82) and Kent Jones.

DiCaprio's character in 'Home' revealed
In Home, DiCaprio will reportedly play Jack Boughton, a troubled alcoholic who returns to his hometown of Gilead to look after his dying father alongside his sister Glory.
Jack and Glory are recurring characters in Robinson's other Gilead novels, which suggests notable commitments from DiCaprio and whoever plays Glory (yet to be cast).
The project comes as Scorsese's dream of adapting Robinson's work for the big screen.

Field is also co-producing the film with Scorsese and Apple.
The first novel in the Gilead series, titled Gilead, is said to be handled by Field. However, it is currently unclear whether the remaining books in the series will also be adapted.
The news comes after Scorsese's latest release Killers of the Flower Moon, which also starred his frequent collaborator DiCaprio.
