Legendary Hollywood actor Gene Hackman, famous for his performances in Bonnie and Clyde, Mississippi Burning, and the 1970s-80s Superman series, was discovered dead at his New Mexico home on Thursday.
The Santa Fe police confirmed the heartbreaking news to The Sun. The 95-year-old actor's wife Betsy Arakawa (64) and their dog were also found dead at the scene.
Authorities have not reported any signs of foul play so far.

Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza told a local media portal, "All I can say is that we're in the middle of a preliminary death investigation, waiting on approval of a search warrant."
The cause of death has not been revealed yet.
