'Legally Blonde' prequel series: A star-making opportunity
The casting process for Elle has been exhaustive, with dozens of young actors auditioning for the role that could launch their careers.
It's a particularly important role since it was Witherspoon's portrayal of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (2001) and its sequel Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (2003) that made her a Hollywood star.
Both Wolfe and Minetree are rising talents who look like Witherspoon.
