Lara Dutta goes digital with a web-series on 'The Meadows'
Bollywood actress Lara Dutta is all set to enter the digital arena as a producer. Her banner, Bheegi Basanti Entertainment, will bankroll a web-series based on Adrian Levy and Cathy Scott-Clark's 2012 book 'The Meadow'. She has already bought the rights and the groundwork for the series has begun. Whether she will act in it or not is still to be ascertained.
The actress is pretty excited about her new endeavor
Talking to a publication about her latest production venture, Lara said, "When I read 'The Meadow' many years ago, I knew it would be something I would definitely find a way to showcase." "Now with the rights in hand, this is definitely going to be something exciting that a global audience will see originating from India," she added.
