Tamil film 'Kudumbasthan' to stream on ZEE5 this week
What's the story
The Tamil comedy-drama Kudumbasthan, which was released in theaters on January 24, 2025, is all set to make its digital debut.
Directed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy and featuring a stellar performance by K Manikandan, the film has been a hit among the audience.
After a lot of speculation about its online debut, it has now been officially announced that the film will be available for streaming on ZEE5 on Friday, March 7.

Earlier, Kudumbasthan was supposed to premiere on OTT platforms on February 28, 2025. However, the release date was subsequently pushed ahead.
ZEE5 announced the new streaming date through a social media post that said, "Yaenunga..! update oda vantom nga! #KudumbasthanOnZEE5. Watch The Middle-Class Blockbuster of 2025 #Kudumbasthan from March 7th only on ZEE5!"

'Kudumbasthan' plot: A tale of struggle and reconciliation
The story of Kudumbasthan revolves around the lives of Naveen and Vennila, a couple who eloped and are expecting their first child.
The movie deals with struggle, deception, failure, and finally, reconciliation.
It traces Naveen's life as he deals with job loss, financial issues, and relationship strains while also handling the pressure of renovating his house, financing his mother's all-India religious trip, and his pregnant wife's UPSC dreams.

Kudumbasthan is a joint venture of director-writer Kalisamy and writer Prasanna Balachandran.
The film was produced by S Vinoth Kumar, with cinematography by Sujith N Subramaniam, editing by Kannan Balu, and music by Vaisagh.
The cast features Manikandan as Naveen, Guru Somasundaram as Rajendran, R Sundarrajan as Palanichamy (Naveen's father), Saanve Megghana as Vennila (Naveen's wife), and Kudassanad Kanakam as their mother.
