'Felt weak, hollow': Kubbra Sait on going through abortion alone
What's the story
In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, actor Kubbra Sait opened up about the emotional turmoil she experienced during a medical abortion.
She described feeling "weak and hollow," stating that she lacked the strength to discuss her situation with anyone.
"I think when I went through the abortion, I don't think I was being strong at all...I felt very weak at that time. I felt hollow."
Emotional resilience
Sait's journey to self-acceptance and strength
Sait confessed, "I was just too weak to take it forward" as the reason behind the abortion.
She said it was only "much later" that she felt there was strength in that decision, that she "made a decision," "broke stereotypical patterns," and "broke societal norms and no one knew about it."
At the time of the procedure, she didn't feel strong enough to confide in friends or colleagues about what she was going through.
