Sidharth Malhotra-Kriti Sanon in discussions for Dinesh Vijan's rom-com
Sidharth Malhotra and Kriti Sanon are reportedly in talks for a romantic comedy with producer Dinesh Vijan, per Pinkvilla. Earlier this year, Malhotra was slated to work with Vijan's production company, Maddock, on an action thriller featuring Janhvi Kapoor. However, the project was put on hold due to budget issues, and the makers have now diverted their attention to this new film. The upcoming rom-com is expected to be directed by Tushar Jalota, who earlier directed Dasvi.

A source told Pinkvilla, "Sidharth is looking to explore the romantic comedy space and has shown his interest in this feature film." "Kriti is also excited by the idea, however, the duo is waiting to hear the final draft before signing the dotted lines." The source hinted at a young romantic comedy with a family flavor that Maddock Films is known for.
Malhotra and Sanon juggle multiple projects
In addition to this project, both Malhotra and Sanon have other films lined up. Sanon is discussing other films with her frequent collaborator Vijan and is also in talks with Sajid Nadiadwala for Housefull 5. On the other hand, Malhotra is preparing for a new action film with Balwinder Singh Janjua later this year and is also discussing a feature film with Junglee Pictures.
