Krishna Raj Kapoor, the wife of Raj Kapoor, passed away on Monday morning aged 87, after suffering cardiac arrest. Reportedly, she breathed her last at 5 in the morning. She got married to Raj Kapoor, in 1946. A woman widely respected in the film industry, Krishna Raj Kapoor is survived by her sons Rishi, Rajeev, Randhir, and two daughters Ritu Nanda and Rimi Jain.
Randhir Kapoor says his mother suffered from cardiac arrest
"My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest...old age was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise," Randhir, the eldest son said. He added the funeral will take place at Chembur crematorium.
