'Parmanu' row: FIR filed against John by KriArj Entertainment
In the latest development in the ongoing tussle for the ownership of 'Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran', an FIR has been filed against John and his production company, JA Entertainment on the basis of a complaint by Prernaa Arora's KriArj Entertainment. Both the production houses were jointly backing the Abhishek Sharma directorial but things went for a toss when John parted ways with Prernaa.
Prernaa accused John of multiple criminal offenses
In its complaint, Prernaa's banner had accused John and his company of cheating, breach of trust, fraud, misappropriation of funds and copyright infringement. KriArj Entertainment alleged that they have been duped of crores of rupees which they had invested in 'Parmanu'. The FIR has been filed at the Khar police station in Mumbai.
What went wrong between John and Prernaa

KriArj then went on dub John's notice as 'false and illegal'. Later, John's company released a fresh statement countering the claims by Prernaa's banner.
