#KoffeeWithKaran: Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone to be the first guests
Season 6 of 'Koffee with Karan' will premiere on October 21, and the fans are understandably excited. Now, the host Karan Johar has revealed the list of first guests. And, they are none other than the ex and present beau of Ranbir Kapoor- Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. KJo tweeted about the announcement, "The first cup of koffee is all about #girlpower!"

The sixth season of fun, controversy and masala
Notably, both Deepika and Alia have appeared multiple times in the previous seasons of 'KWK'. Deepika had appeared on the show with Sonam Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, SRK and Farah Khan. The Deepika-Sonam pair caused quite a controversy as she hinted that her then boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor had cheated on her. Some high voltage controversy is anticipated now as Alia is currently dating Ranbir.
Alia's previous appearances
Alia had previously appeared on 'KWK' with Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan. It was on the show that Alia answered a question about President incorrectly, leading to endless jokes and memes about her. Further, there are speculations about Sara Ali Khan's appearance on this season with her father Saif Ali Khan.
New bottle, old wine
In all its previous seasons, 'KWK' had offered nothing new. The show usually has the same set of guests visiting every year, but in different pairings. Only a few episodes have first-time guests on the show. Let's see if Season 6 brings a surprise package.
