Kathua rape-horror: Koena Mitra slams Sonam for her "communal take"
Sonam Kapoor has been accused of giving a "communal twist" to the Kathua rape case, wherein an eight-year-old was raped and murdered brutally. Actress Koena Mitra took to Twitter to slam Sonam's take on the heart-wrenching tragedy. Sonam had tweeted that she is ashamed, appalled and disgusted by fake nationals and fake Hindus.
Sonam's remarks did not go down well with Koena
Koena targeted Sonam for blaming an entire religion and asked her to comment on other rape cases as well. "Any comments @sonamakapoor? You condemned a heinous crime (I appreciate) but gave it a communal twist "Fake Hindus". Kindly do the same for all. How can you blame an entire religion for this Rape. These victims are ours too! #justiceForAll [sic]," Koena tweeted.
