KJo clarifies on 'Kesari' v/s 'Zero' tweet after #ShameOnKaranJohar trends
What's the story
Filmmaker Karan Johar is the favorite target of social media trolls.
One such incident took place today, when KJo sparked a controversy after he 'liked' a tweet abusing Shah Rukh Khan, while praising Akshay Kumar's Kesari.
#ShameOnKaranJohar took over Twitter in no time, and now the director-producer has opened up on the controversy and called it a technical glitch.
Here's what went down.
Apology
Karan apologizes for 'liking' a tweet he 'would NEVER acknowledge'
Karan took to Twitter to clarify his stand and stated that he is facing technical problem on the micro-blogging site.
He stated that he experienced "strange things" on Twitter.
"From uploading shoe picture and gibberish to liking tweets I haven't even read and would NEVER even acknowledge! Please bear with me and I apologize for any inconvenience," KJo wrote.

Please bear with me, sorting it out asap, Karan assures

Start: A Twitter user compared SRK's 'Zero' and Akshay's 'Kesari'
It all started after KJo 'accidentally' liked a tweet, which hurled abuses at SRK.
The tweet (which isn't on Karan's timeline now) compared the half-day collections of Kesari to full day collections of Zero.
It also called SRK a 'B-grade star' and stated that his stardom was nothing compared to Akshay's.
Apparently, KJo liking this tweet didn't go down well with SRK fans.
Troll
#ShameOnKaranJohar becomes the new trend on Twitter
SRK's fans were mighty miffed, and #ShameOnKaranJohar started trending on Twitter.
He was trolled mercilessly by Twitterati for apparently backstabbing SRK.
"KJo is less a friend and more an enemy who always backstabs him," wrote a Twitter user.
Another user tweeted, "@karanjohar Can't Be a Good Friend of Any Because He only cares About Money, Friendship Doesn't Matters to Him"

SRK replies, says Karan is technically challenged, 'go easy all'
Meanwhile, SRK also reacted to the controversy and extended support to his dear friend KJo.
The superstar stated that while Karan is technically challenged, he has some great qualities as well.
"Just like Life, Twitter doesn't come with instructions, so mistakes are natural & also he has fat fingers. Go easy all, Make Love, not War. It's more fun," SRK urges his Twitter family.
