'King': Shah Rukh Khan to play don and Suhana's mentor
Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King will start shooting in January and will mark his daughter Suhana Khan's big-screen debut. A new report by Mid-Day states that in King, SRK will play a don who guides Suhana's character through a crime-filled world, all while battling their shared enemy, Abhishek Bachchan. The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
'King' to feature Hollywood action directors
The pre-production for King is set to begin in October, with the first schedule planned in Budapest. "Abbas Tyrewala of War 2 fame has completed the first draft of the dialogues," a source told Mid-Day. The makers are also reportedly in talks with some of Hollywood's top action directors for this film. Siddharth Anand, who has designed its action sequences, will serve as its creative producer.
'King' to showcase Budapest's winter charm
Budapest has been chosen as the filming spot for King. A source revealed that they picked this city specifically for its coldest month, January. The film needs "the dull and grey climate brought upon by the rainy and sometimes snowy region in January." This suggests that the movie will likely include some stunning visuals set against a wintry backdrop.
Anirudh Ravichander to compose music for 'King'
Anirudh Ravichander has reportedly joined the crew of King to compose its score. He's already put together the background score for the announcement video. The source added that film will be officially announced on November 2, which happens to be SRK's birthday! Meanwhile, both SRK and Suhana have kickstarted their training for the action sequences ahead of the shoot. Abhay Verma will be essaying Suhana's love interest in the movie.
