Shah Rukh Khan's 'King' shoot delayed to June, here's why
What's the story
The shooting of Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited film King has been pushed from March to June 2025.
The delay is because director Siddharth Anand is still working on the script, Bollywood Hungama reported.
An insider told the portal, "Siddharth Anand and SRK have made a film like Pathaan and the idea is to up the standards set by the YRF Spy Universe film with King."

'King' to be shot in India and Europe
The source further revealed that the filming of King will be done in India and Europe. The production houses involved, Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and Anand's Marflix, are committed to delivering a grand cinematic experience.
They hope to bring the film to the big screen by the end of 2026.
Star-studded cast
'King' cast includes Suhana Khan and Abhay Verma
Along with SRK, King will also star his daughter Suhana Khan in the lead. Abhay Verma, who impressed everyone with his performance in Munjya, will play an important role in the film.
At the Locarno Film Festival, SRK revealed details about King, calling it an action drama and said he had always wanted to work on something like that.

Speaking at an event in Abu Dhabi, SRK elaborated on the film.
He said he will be shooting for a couple of months under the strict supervision of director Anand.
While he didn't divulge specific details of the project, he assured fans it would be entertaining and enjoyable.
Originally, Anand was onboard as the producer, with Sujoy Ghosh handling the directing duties, however, Ghosh decided to leave the project and let Anand take over.
