Kim Kardashian to testify in 2016 Paris robbery case
What's the story
Reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian will testify in the trial of the suspects in her 2016 Paris robbery.
Kardashian was held hostage by five masked men who robbed her of millions of dollars' worth of jewelry during the Paris Fashion Week.
According to TMZ, the trial will begin in May.
Incident
What exactly had happened on the fateful day?
On October 3, 2016, Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint at Paris's No Address Hotel (Hôtel de Pourtalès).
Five masked men, aged between 40 and 50, stole several items, including a $4 million ring gifted to her by then-husband Kanye West (Ye).
An investigation led to the arrest of 17 suspects across France in January 2017, with four men being indicted shortly after.

Kardashian's testimony will shed light on robbery
Kardashian is set to relive her traumatic experience before a jury during the trial.
In a 2017 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she opened up about the incident, saying she was "wearing a bathrobe, naked underneath" when the men came.
The reality star detailed how she heard footsteps at her door around 3:00am and saw two men through the door, along with the "night man" who was tied up.
Fear
'It makes me so upset to think about it'
Kardashian tearfully described the ordeal, saying, "They dragged me out onto the hallway on top of the stairs."
"I was like; 'I have a split second in my mind to make this quick decision. Am I going to run down the stairs and either be shot in the back?' It makes me so upset to think about it."
Investigation
Investigation revealed possible inside job
The probe into the robbery found that one of the suspects, Gary M., was Kardashian's Paris chauffeur's younger brother.
Kardashian had returned to her hotel room alone after spending the evening with her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. While her siblings decided to have a night out with Kardashian's bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, accompanying them, the SKIMS founder came back.
This led to speculation that the robbers may have tracked Kardashian's location through social media or had inside information.
