Kim Kardashian was high on ecstasy while making sex tape
Kim Kardashian is one of the most popular TV/internet personalities with the show Keeping Up With The Kardashians dedicated to her family's life. The 38-year-old, married to rapper Kanye West since 2014 and mother of three children, North, Saint, and Chicago, made a shocking revelation on Sunday's episode. Kim was conversing with sister Kendall and Kourtney's boyfriend, Scott Disick, at that time. Here's what she said.
Sex, drugs, and rock and roll
The topic started when Kendall mentioned hearing wild stories about Kim's early days and Disick chipped in saying she was high when she went to Disney or Six Flags. Kendall quickly claimed not knowing that Kim got high. Kim, then, mentioned getting married to music producer Damon Thomas in 2000 and making a sex tape with singer Ray J in 2003, while on ecstasy.
Rising popularity under the influence
Although Kim claimed that 'everything bad' happened while she was on ecstasy, it was ironically her sex tape going public in 2007, that shot her to global popularity. Soon after that, her family show had debuted and there was no looking back for Kardashian West. Nonetheless, Kim asserted that everyone knew she was on drugs as her 'jaw was shaking the whole time'.
Like a true nature's child, born to be wild
Recalling more episodes from her youth she remembered leaving a foam party with Paris Hilton at 7 AM, traveling to Ibiza, and sleeping on interlocked rafts. Another testament to her wild child phase is multiple divorces. Her marriage with Thomas lasted from 2000 to 2004, while her 2011 marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries was even shorter as they infamously split 72 days later.
The maturity which comes with age
However, with age and after marriage with Kanye, Kim has calmed down now. She rarely drinks and recently she had recalled the responsibility placed on her as she became the designated driver to her harder partying sisters. Kim had learned driving at 14 from her father, the late Robert Kardashian, showing that she always had a responsible side to her despite wilder youthful dalliances.
The fire never burns out completely
Despite Kim being much more mature and calm now, besides being a mother of three, she has still not lost her touch. Although she clearly stated that she did not like that anymore, she was quick to assert that she still had fun. She urged her viewers not to get it twisted, as she was always the life of the party.
