Kim Kardashian calls emergency custody hearing amid Ye's controversy
What's the story
Kim Kardashian reportedly sought an emergency custody hearing amid fears that Ye was hanging out with controversial figures Andrew and Tristan Tate.
According to TMZ, the Tates—who recently escaped Romanian arrest by flying to the US—were reportedly due to meet Ye during his trip with their daughter, North West.
This led Kardashian to suddenly end North's visit last week.
Meeting details
Kardashian and Ye held discussions over custody and Tates's involvement
On Friday, Kardashian and Ye met with their lawyers and a mediator to discuss custody arrangements and the situation involving the Tates.
This meeting comes after North and Sean "Diddy" Combs featured on Ye's single LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE.
Combs is facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center.
The Tate brothers are also accused of sex crimes.
Social media storm
Ye's controversial social media activity and allegations
Meanwhile, Ye has faced backlash for his repeated antisemitic remarks and controversial posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
On March 19, he accused Kardashian and her family of sex trafficking children, referring to the North's performance of an FKA Twigs song and TikTok video.
Earlier this week, he had made a disturbing post about Beyoncé and Jay-Z's seven-year-old twins, questioning their mental capacity with offensive language.

Response
Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, responded to Ye's remarks
Ye's remarks about her grandchildren drew a response from Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, who spoke out against "ignorance and evil."
According to Page Six, she said, "It's hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil. But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper."
