'Kill' to be remade in Tamil-Telugu after Hollywood adaptation: Report
The critically acclaimed action-thriller Kill, which has already piqued Hollywood's interest, is now set to be remade in Tamil and Telugu. The film, produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, stars Lakshya and Raghav Juyal in lead roles, with Ashish Vidyarthi and Tanya Maniktala in supporting roles. The South Indian remakes will reportedly be directed by Ramesh Varma and produced under the banner of A Studios.

Kill, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, has been a hit with audiences since its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was the runner-up for the People's Choice Award: Midnight Madness. The film was released in theaters in July and has received widespread acclaim for its intense action sequences, intriguing plot set on a train, and stellar performances from the cast. Currently, it is available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
Chad Stahelski of 'John Wick' will spearhead Hollywood remake
In July, Lionsgate and 87Eleven Entertainment—the production powerhouses behind the John Wick franchise—revealed plans to create an English-language remake of Kill. Chad Stahelski, director of the John Wick franchise and a producer from 87Eleven Entertainment, will spearhead the remake. "Nikhil delivers relentless action sequences that need to be seen by as wide an audience as possible," Stahelski remarked, adding that they have "big shoes to fill."
