Madsen was arrested under Penal Code 243(e)(1) for a domestic battery misdemeanor, indicating force or violence was allegedly used against a cohabitant.
Madsen was released after posting a $20,000 bond
Per reports, Madsen was booked at the Station at 1:40am and was later released after posting a $20,000 bond. A representative for the actor told Variety, "It was a disagreement between Michael and his wife, which we hope resolves positively for them both." The investigation into the incident is ongoing and will be forwarded to the Van Nuys Superior Court House for filing.
