Kichcha Sudeep sets new record with 'Vikrant Rona' (Hint: dubbing)
Kichcha Sudeep is gearing up for his first release of 2022, Vikrant Rona. And, makers are ensuring the buzz around the film, touted as a fantasy action-adventure thriller, stays alive. They took to Twitter recently to share that Sudeep has dubbed in English for the entire film, making him the first Kannada actor "and one of the few from India" to achieve this feat.
What did the announcement say?
Sharing this piece of news, makers wrote, "#VikrantRonainEnglish Kichcha Sudeep sir completes dubbing for the English version. First Kannada superstar & one of the few from India to dub for a full-fledged commercial movie in English." Besides Kannada and English, the Anup Bhandari-directorial will be released in other languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Vikrant Rona is yet to get a release date.

The film was originally slated for a February 24, 2022 premiere. However, owing to the COVID-19 third wave, makers decided to defer its release. Apart from Sudeep, Vikrant Rona will feature Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok (debutante), and Jacqueline Fernandez as Gadang Rakkamma. Presented by Zee Studios, the film has been produced by Shalini Jack Manju and Alankar Pandian via Shalini Arts and Invenio Films India, respectively. Kiccha Creations is also a producer of Vikrant Rona. Mysore Talkies and T-Series Films have been roped in as distributors.
Sudeep, Bhandari collaborating for many more movies
Sudeep, last seen in the money-churner actioner Kotigobba 3, will soon collaborate with Bhandari for their fifth film together, said reports. Right now, they have three more films to work on: Billa Ranga Basha, Ashwatthama, and the sequel to Vikrant Rona. All the films are being scripted currently. News has it that among the three, Ashwatthama will be the first film to roll.
