'Ramayana' cast update: Kiara Sadh to play young Sita
Excitement mounts as fans eagerly await the official cast announcement for Nitesh Tiwari's adaptation of the revered epic Ramayana. Adding to the buzz is a recent report by Pinkvilla indicating that child actor Kiara Sadh—known for her performance in Pandya Store—has been added to the ensemble cast. She will be portraying young Sita, setting the stage for Sai Pallavi's depiction of adult Sita.
Sadh has appeared in key roles in popular shows
Sadh brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having appeared in key roles in popular shows such as Bahot Pyaar Karte Hai and Pandya Store. She also made a significant impact with her performance as young Anushka (Jennifer Winget) in Raisinghani v/s Raisinghani. In addition to these roles, Sadh has been seen in numerous advertisements.
Ranbir Kapoor, Pallavi to play Lord Rama and Sita
The cast of Ramayana is filled with notable names from the Indian film industry. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Rama, while Pallavi will portray Sita. Other stars include Lara Dutta and Rakul Preet Singh, who will play Kaikeyi and Surpanakha, respectively. Reports also suggest that Ravi Dubey and Sunny Deol have been cast as Lakshman and Lord Hanuman, respectively. However, the official cast announcement is still awaited.

Filming for the forthcoming film has reportedly commenced in the first week of April. Separately, to fit into the role of Rama, Kapoor is currently undergoing intensive training. His fitness coach recently shared a video on Instagram of the actor working out in a picturesque countryside setting. Notably, the film is slated for a Diwali 2025 release and is planned as a trilogy.
