Shahid Kapoor, who is the protagonist of the Bollywood remake of Telugu blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy', has announced the female lead of the movie.
The actor, in his tweet, revealed that Kiara Advani will play the role of Preeti- Arjun's love interest.
He also mentioned that with Kiara on board, 'Arjun Reddy' team is complete and that he is excited about the movie.

Indeed, it is a big project for Kiara who stated that she's quite excited about 'Arjun Reddy' as her character has several shades in the movie.
"Arjun Reddy has always been one of my favourite films. There are so many shades to the heroine's character," Kiara said.
Notably, this is the first time she will be sharing the screen space with Shahid.

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga reveals why he signed Kiara
The Bollywood remake of 'Arjun Reddy' will be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also helmed the original Telugu blockbuster.
Vanga finds Kiara to be the perfect choice for the female lead as she epitomizes the character.
"Kiara has the perfect combination of innocence (in terms of looks) and maturity (in terms of performance) that's so important for the character," Vanga said.
