Kiara Advani not part of 'Salaar: Part 2,' report says
Despite swirling rumors, actor Kiara Advani is not likely to be a part of the upcoming sequel to Salaar, Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam. The film features stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran and is a highly anticipated follow-up to the 2023 hit, Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire. Insiders have told Pinkvilla that Advani was never considered for the lead role in the sequel.
Advani is, meanwhile, gearing up for 'Game Changer'
In other developments, Advani has completed shooting for her upcoming Telugu film, Game Changer. She shares screen space in this project with Ram Charan. The political thriller is directed by Shankar and is scheduled for release later this year. Last month, the makers dropped a high-octane dance number, Jaragandi, from the film and it has been ruling the charts.
Prabhas, Sukumaran's upcoming and recent projects
Coming to the Salaar leads, Prabhas is currently engrossed in his next project titled Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. This futuristic sci-fi movie draws inspiration from Hindu mythology with Prabhas playing an alter-ego of Lord Vishnu's avatar Kalki. In addition to this project, Prabhas is also set to play the lead role in films like The Raja Saab and Spirit. Sukumaran is currently basking in the glory of The Goat Life.
