Janhvi Kapoor talks about sister Khushi's Bollywood debut
For months there have been speculations about the Bollywood debut of Sridevi's younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor. In fact, the reports said that after launching Janhvi Kapoor with Dhadak in 2018, ace-filmmaker Karan Johar is planning to launch Khushi as well. However, contrary to those reports, sister Janhvi revealed that Khushi isn't stepping in Bollywood anytime soon and has some other plans. Here's more.
Khushi will be taking up a course at NYFA
During her recent appearance on Anaita Shroff Adajania's chat show, Janhvi revealed that Khushi is taking up a course in New York Film Academy. She further mentioned that while Bollywood debut isn't in the plan as of now, Khushi may take the call later. "She is going to NYFA. After she comes back, she will figure what she wants to do," Janhvi added.
Khushi had won a scholarship at New York Film Academy
To recall, Janhvi had said earlier that Khushi had won a scholarship at New York Film Academy. "The jury enjoyed her auditions so much that they gave her a scholarship instantly," Janhvi said. This was enough to spark rumors about Khushi's Bollywood debut.
Khushi wants to be launched by Karan
Meanwhile, Khushi also expressed her desire to join Bollywood, and said that just like Janhvi, she wants to be launched by KJo. She also mentioned that she can blindly trust him when it comes to her debut. Interestingly, KJo, who has launched several star kids, is known as Bollywood's flagbearer of nepotism. We wonder if he will "justify" his tag once again for Khushi.
Currently, Janhvi has three big projects in her kitty
Back to Janhvi, the actor's career is on a roll these days. After making a decent debut last year, she has three big projects in her kitty at the moment. Currently, Janhvi is busy shooting for Gunjan Saxena biopic titled Kargil Girl, wherein she plays the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. Besides, she will also be seen in Takht and Rooh-Afza.
