Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' continues to underperform
Akshay Kumar's latest film, Khel Khel Mein, is facing a tough time at the box office. Despite receiving positive reviews, the movie has struggled to draw in audiences. This lackluster performance comes amid stiff competition from other releases such as Stree 2 and Vedaa. As per Sacnilk's early estimates, Khel Khel Mein only managed to rake in ₹1.38 crore on its tenth day of release. Its total collection stands at ₹21.43 crore.
'Khel Khel Mein' vs 'Stree 2' vs 'Vedaa'
In the box office race, Khel Khel Mein is lagging behind Amar Kaushik's horror comedy Stree 2, which has broken multiple records and is on track to join the prestigious ₹350 crore club. Meanwhile, John Abraham's Vedaa is also underperforming with a total collection of just ₹18.50 crore so far. This intense competition among new releases seems to be impacting the overall performance of individual films.
'Khel Khel Mein' is a remake of Italian film
Khel Khel Mein, directed by Mudassar Aziz, features an ensemble cast including Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor and Pragya Jaiswal. The movie is an Indian adaptation of the Italian film Perfetti Sconosciuti (Perfect Strangers). Despite its star-studded lineup and international source material, the film has been unable to make a significant impact at the box office. Kumar will next be seen in Sky Force.
