The contestants of the thrilling reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 were seen at the airport on Tuesday night, embarking on their journey to Romania. Among them was actor Shalin Bhanot, accompanied by his parents who were there to wish him luck. Also spotted was Bigg Boss 17 runner-up Abhishek Kumar, who took time to greet paparazzi and distribute sweets before his departure. With excitement building, here's the confirmed lineup of contestants.
Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Shilpa Shinde
Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia—known for her role in Choti Sarrdaarni—is one confirmed contestant, who engaged with the media, expressing her excitement for the upcoming adventure. Joining her is Shilpa Shinde, the winner of Bigg Boss 11, who has been focusing on a healthy diet and getting enough sleep in preparation for the show. She previously mentioned working on strengthening her mental fortitude and improving breath control through bubble exercises and swimming.
Sumona Chakravarti, Gashmeer Mahajani
Sumona Chakravarti, known for her stint on The Kapil Sharma Show, has been sharing videos of her intense workout sessions in preparation for the show. She earlier expressed excitement about showcasing her adventurous side under the guidance of host Rohit Shetty. Her aside, actor Gashmeer Mahajani is another confirmed contestant who committed to a strenuous morning workout routine starting at 4:30am and has mentally prepared to be away from his child during his time on the show, reportedly.
Karan Veer Mehra, Kedar Aashish Mehrotra, Niyati Fatnani
Other participants spotted at the airport included Karan Veer Mehra (Mehndi Wala Ghar), Anupamaa fame Kedar Aashish Mehrotra, and Niyati Fatnani (Channa Mereya). Mehra started learning to swim and was following a strict diet, abstaining from alcohol to stay fit for the show. In an interview, he confessed his fear of animal-based stunts but said he sees the show as an opportunity to confront his fears.
Kumar and Bhanot
Two of the most anticipated contestants this year are Kumar and Bhanot. Despite his initial hesitation due to claustrophobia, Kumar confirmed his participation after receiving encouragement from various sources. He reportedly revealed that he hadn't undergone any specific training due to late confirmation and plans to approach each task as it comes. Meanwhile, contestants who were notably absent at the airport include Tiger Shroff's sister Krishna Shroff and Asim Riaz. Currently, the premiere date of S14 hasn't been revealed.
