Binita's husband was abducted by terrorists in 2003
Sitting on the hot-seat, Binita revealed her life turned upside down when her husband went missing during a business trip. He was kidnapped by terrorists in 2003 and despite all the efforts put in by the family, they couldn't trace him. He is still missing. This was certainly an unimaginable tragedy for Binita, who is a mother of two kids.
Binita didn't bow down to circumstances
A financial crisis, two young children and a family to look for, Binita saw every possible struggle in life. But the fearless lady chose to pick up life and took up a job of a tuition teacher to support her family. She also completed her education and earned two degrees. Amitabh Bachchan also lauded Binita and called her an inspiration.
Binita got a perfect score
"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest". This quote by Benjamin Franklin was well proved by Binita who not just won a whopping amount of Rs. 1 crore but also got a perfect score.
