'KBC11' finds its second crorepati; cook Babita wins Rs. 1cr
Days after Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 found its first crorepati in IAS aspirant Sanoj Raj, another contestant Babita Tade has achieved that same feat on the show. Reportedly, this mid-day meal cook from Maharashtra's Amravati has become the second contestant to win Rs. 1 crore on KBC 11. The announcement was made through the recent promo of the show on social media site, Instagram.
Babita wants to buy a personal phone after becoming crorepati
In the promo video shared by Sony, the broadcasting channel, Babita is seen rejoicing after Big B announces her achievement on the show. An elated Babita revealed that after becoming a crorepati, she wants to buy herself a personal phone. Although she has won Rs. 1cr, it would be interesting to see if she attempts the final question of Rs. 7cr or bows out.
She earns Rs. 1,500 per month by cooking mid-day meal
To note, Babita works as a cook in a government school in Amravati, and makes food for around 450 students. She has been in this profession for over 15 years now, and earns merely Rs. 1,500 per month. Babita is proud of her profession as she loves cooking for the kids. This intriguing episode of KBC 11 will be aired on Wednesday.

Earlier, Sanoj created history after he became the first contestant to win Rs. 1cr on the popular quiz show. Sanoj is the son of a farmer and hails from a small village in Bihar. After completing his B.Tech, he has been working as an Assistant Commandant for two years. However, he aspires to be an IAS officer and wants to serve the society.
Preparing for civil services helped Saroj win big on 'KBC11'
Talking about his winning secret, Sanoj, in an interview, revealed that it was his preparations for the civil services exam that helped him win big on the show. "I was studying for civil services, so I didn't do any extra preparation," he added. Excited about becoming the first crorepati of the season, Sanoj said that he was trying for KBC for around six years.
It has been a long journey, says the Bihar lad
"When I would correctly answer questions asked on the show, I would calculate that I could have won so much money (laughs). That's how I decided to try my luck as soon as I turned 18. It has been a long journey," said Sanoj.
