Video: Katrina does Ganesh aarti the wrong way, gets trolled
What's the story
Katrina Kaif is one those actresses in Bollywood, who has managed to make heads turn every time she appears with Salman Khan. This time too, her appearance with Salman at the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Arpita's residence grabbed the headlines. But soon, the buzzing news turned into troll fest after a video of Katrina doing Ganesh aarti in a wrong way went viral.

Salman's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri shared a video of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on Twitter (now deleted), where the entire Khan family was seen doing the aarti. Started by Salman's mother Salma Khan, the aarti was done by Salman, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Arpita Khan and Ayush Sharma. They were followed by Katrina and Salman's sister Alvira. That was certainly an aww moment for Salman-Katrina fans.

Katrina's Ganesh aarti leaves fans upset, here's why
Before one could get over the nice moment of Katrina performing the Ganesh aarti, she became the target of trolls. In the video, Katrina was seen performing the aarti the wrong way, i.e, anti-clockwise. Notably, while performing the pooja, aarti thaali has to be moved clock-wise. But Katrina did it the other way around leaving several of her fans upset.

Many pointed out the mistake on Twitter. @riddzij tweeted: "Katrina Kaif doing aarti in reverse direction. If not sure should ask before doing it". @MeshwatUpadhyay wrote: "Some of the bollywood actors dont leave any chance to insult hindu religious sentiments if you dont know how to do it, then learn it prior and its nothing rocket science, please dont hurt our religious sentiments" (sic)
