Kashmir's human shield rejects 'Bigg Boss' offer
The makers of 'Bigg Boss' have a knack for picking up contestants who have been mired in some controversy or the other. Farooq Ahmad Dar, who made headlines last year after an Army Major tied him to a jeep as a human shield, has claimed that he was approached for the reality show. However, he turned the offer down.
He was offered Rs. 50 lakh to participate
Dar said that a producer of the show offered him Rs. 50 lakh to participate but he turned it down as he wants to continue his fight for compensation with the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) in Kashmir. "I was offered Rs. 50 lakh by Bigg Boss producers in July last year. They even told me that tickets for me were ready," he said.
The makers have a different story to tell
When the officials of Colors channel were asked regarding the same, they said that all this is a mere speculation. However, they neither confirmed nor denied offering Dar Rs. 50 lakh to be on 'Bigg Boss'. The images and videos of Dar had gone viral on social media in April last year.
Meanwhile, auditions for 'Bigg Boss 12' have begun
The auditions for the twelfth season of the Salman Khan's have begun already. This time, the contestants will come in jodis. The show is expected to go on-air in the last quarter of 2018.
