#BhoolBhulaiyaa2: Kartik Aaryan unveils first look of the "haunting comedy"
Bollywood's current heartthrob Kartik Aaryan is all set to entertain audiences with his upcoming "haunting comedy," Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. He shared the first look of this much-awaited sequel of Akshay Kumar's Bhool Bhulaiyaa on Instagram, and wrote, "Ghostbuster is all set to enter. Hare Ram Hare Ram Hare Krishna Hare Ram." As mentioned in the caption, Kartik plays a ghostbuster in this film.
In the first poster, Kartik is holding a skeleton hand
The first poster features Kartik, clad in a saffron colored kurta-pajama, wearing a bandana on his forehead, with his back towards the camera. He's seen holding a skeleton hand, which has two of the fingers indicating '2', as he makes his way through a door.

Kartik's posters gave several nods to Akshay's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'
In the second poster, Kartik is seen sitting on a couch with Manjulika's painting (from the first installment) hanging behind him. Dressed as a sadhu and donning funky shades, he posed exactly how Akshay did for the poster of his film. In another nod to Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Kartik captioned the poster as, "Amije tomaaar shudho je tomaar", a super-popular song from the first installment.
"The Haunting Comedy Returns," Kartik's second poster says
"It's a great responsibility to take his franchise forward"
Coincidentally, Bhool Bhulaiyaa happens to be one of Kartik's "favorite comedic supernatural thriller films." Kartik, who's "a big fan of Akshay," is delighted to be a part of the sequel, but feels "it's a great responsibility to take his (Akshay's) franchise forward." He, meanwhile, has assured that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is backed with a "hilarious script" for the audience, just like the original blockbuster.
Had been eagerly waiting to make a sequel: Bhushan
On the other hand, the film's producer Bhushan Kumar expressed his excitement, and said, "I had been eagerly waiting to make a sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa for the longest time." Notably, unlike the first installment (which was directed by Priyadarshan), this will be helmed by Anees Bazmee, known for No Entry, Welcome, etc. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be releasing on July 31, 2020.
Currently, Kartik is busy with 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' remake
Meanwhile, Kartik will soon be seen in Imtiaz Ali's Aaj Kal opposite Sara Ali Khan. He's also working on Mudassar Aziz's Pati Patni Aur Woh, a remake of Sanjeev Kumar-Vidya Sinha's 1978 release. The Luka Chuppi actor will further be seen in another much-anticipated sequel, that of 2008 release Dostana's, which will also star Janhvi Kapoor, and will be produced by Karan Johar.
