Are Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani co-starring again after 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'?
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had announced his next love story, Satyanarayan Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan in June last year. But soon, the title had created outrage, leading to a prompt name change announcement. After months of silence, we have the next update on this production. Reportedly, Kiara Advani will star opposite Aaryan in this untitled venture, marking their second collaboration after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
Why does the story matter?
Tagged to be the "ultimate love story" deeply supported by music, the project is the first collaboration between Aaryan and Nadiadwala. National Award-winner Sameer Vidwans was also roped in to mark his debut in Hindi cinema. Earlier, the title had courted controversy, since Satyanarayan Ki Katha means "the story of Satyanarayan (Lord Vishnu)." The new title is yet to be announced.
Production to begin by next month
Originally set to go on the floors in December last year, COVID-19 obstructed the plans and the team will now begin production in March, per a Mid-Day report. "[Aaryan] is currently finishing his pending commitments, including brand endorsements and the final touches to Rohit Dhawan's Shehzada," a source told the portal. Advani, too, will wrap up her brand endorsements before the shoot.
Aaryan-Advani to juggle filming with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' promotions
The source added, "The duo [Aaryan and Advani], who will soon kick off promotions of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, will juggle the shoot of the love story with the promotional activities." Notably, the Anees Bazmee-directorial was slated to hit theaters on March 25 but recently, makers changed the date to May 20. Producers wanted to avoid a clash with RRR (also releasing on March 25).
Both Aaryan and Advani are booked with multiple ventures
After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Aaryan's next release will be the Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Shehzada, coming out on November 4. Apart from this, he has Freddy, opposite Alaya F. Advani, meanwhile, will be seen next in Jug Jugg Jeeyo, hitting the theaters on June 24. Further, she has Govinda Naam Mera, RC15, and an untitled reported venture with Varun Dhawan.
