Kapoor Khan was scheduled to attend a promotional event on Thursday (September 12) as a special guest at Lido Cinemas on Juhu Tara Road in Mumbai.
However, due to the unfortunate incident, the event has been postponed, India Today reported.
The actor is currently preparing for the release of Hansal Mehta-directed The Buckingham Murders, which is set to hit theaters on Friday (September 13).

Kapoor sisters visited Arora sisters after stepfather's death
Kapoor Khan, along with her husband Saif Ali Khan and sister Karisma Kapoor, visited Malaika and Amrita at their residence after their stepfather's death.
Kareena and Karisma, who share a close bond with the Arora sisters, were spotted leaving late at night.
On the same night, Malaika released a statement after Mehta's death, saying, "Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time."

Mumbai Police officials stated that Mehta's death "prima facie" appeared to be a case of suicide. However, they are investigating all angles.
The body was sent for post-mortem, according to DCP Crime Branch, Raj Tilak Roshan, which reportedly revealed that the cause of death was "multiple injuries."
The cremation service for Mehta was held on Thursday at Santacruz Hindu Crematorium in Mumbai.
