Kareena Kapoor believes that Bollywood is nepotism free
Sharing her viewpoint on the infamous nepotism debate, Kareena Kapoor Khan has said that the practice is not prevalent in Bollywood. To support her opinion, she cited Ranveer Singh's example who made it big despite having no connections with industry people. She also said that if nepotism existed, every star child would have been a superstar.
"Being a star child has its own challenges"
The superstar feels that star kids like her have immense pressure to live up to the expectations. "When you have generations of actors and a huge legacy behind you, it is actually difficult for a star child to live up to it and succeed in this industry," she said.
Kangana, Karan took on each other over nepotism
The nepotism debate began when Kangana Ranaut appeared on Karan Johar's 'Koffee With Karan' and dubbed him as the 'flagbearer of nepotism' in the industry. It blew up again when Karan along with Varun Dhawan and Saif Ali Khan mocked Kangana for her comments during an award show last year.
