Inspiration
Kapoor Khan's character is inspired by Kate Winslet's role
Discussing her role, Kapoor Khan said, "I think I loved playing that part because this is the first time I am playing a detective, and I am a huge crime drama fan."
She admitted that the character's grief made her uncomfortable but described it as a "career-defining role for me."
To note, her character is inspired by Kate Winslet's role in Mare of Easttown.
In addition to her, TBM also features Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.

Film received acclaim at global premiere
The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa Kapoor, and Kapoor Khan. Its screenplay is penned by Aseem Arrora, Raghav Raj Kakker, and Kashyap Kapoor.
The film's first song, Sada Pyaar Tut Gaya, has also been released.
TBM received positive feedback at its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival 2023. It was also screened at the 2023 Mumbai Film Festival at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in October.

Apart from The Buckingham Murders, Kapoor Khan is also reportedly set to appear in Meghna Gulzar's new film Daayra and Rohit Shetty's Singham Again.
