Saif-Kareena to play villains in Prabhas's 'Spirit': Report
Bollywood power couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are reportedly set to portray villainous characters in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit, reported Bollywood Hungama. This casting news, if true, marks a rare instance of a real-life married couple playing antagonists on screen. The film will also be the sixth collaboration between the couple after LOC Kargil, Omkara, Tashan, Kurbaan, and Agent Vinod.
'Spirit' marks Vanga's first collaboration with Prabhas
Spirit is particularly anticipated as it marks the first collaboration between Vanga and South superstar Prabhas. The film follows Vanga's previous venture, Animal, which emerged as a major Bollywood success. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri among others, Animal exceeded expectations with its performance.
Khans' previous roles and upcoming films
In their previous collaborations, Khan and Kapoor Khan did not portray a couple in LOC Kargil and Omkara. However, their roles in Spirit will add a new dimension to their on-screen partnership. As for their upcoming projects, Khan is currently awaiting the release of Devara on Friday, while Kapoor Khan will next be seen in Singham Again on Diwali.
