KJo may launch his godchild Aryan and Khushi Kapoor soon
It looks like another Kapoor kid is all set for a Bollywood debut, and this time too it is Karan Johar who will provide a launchpad. According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the Dharma Productions' head honcho wants to launch Khushi Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Sridevi's younger daughter. But there's more. Apparently, Khushi will have a dream launch opposite Aryan, Shah Rukh Khan's son.
Reportedly, KJo has already started fishing for scripts
A source close to the Kapoors told Khushi will be launched sooner than later, and added KJo has taken over the responsibility from Boney Kapoor. "Though Khushi's debut is being kept a well-guarded secret, they've already started looking for a suitable script," the source said and added KJo's plan is to launch her with Aryan Khan. "Let's see how it goes," the insider said.
Earlier, KJo spoke about being part of Aryan's debut
That KJo is close to SRK's family isn't hidden. He considers Gauri Khan his best friend, and the kids are his Godchildren. Once speaking about Aryan's debut, KJo said it won't happen without him. KJo said if Aryan decided to make a career in movies, he will play an important role, maybe as a director or just as a guiding light.
KJo even equated Aryan's launch to his own son's
"For me, Aryan being launched is like my son being launched. I will be this hyper relative breathing down his neck. I have held Aryan in my arms when he was six months old, and walked around the streets of London," KJo had said.
Brace yourselves, nepotism debate is just round the corner
If these reports turn out to be true, we are sure the nepotism debate will kindle again (not that it died ever). But KJo has risen above this. As he said in a recent interview, it was his production house, his friends, so he can decide whom to launch. And we can't help but agree with this stand of no-nonsense man KJo.
